Layaji offers two types of plans: Account plans and Site plans.

Account plans (Individual and Team plans)

When you first signup to use Webflow, you’ll be on the Free individual account plan. These give you access to your Webflow account, your dashboard, and the Designer.

You can upgrade your individual account plan when you need to unlock additional features. You can also create or join a team when you need to collaborate with other designers on the same projects. A team plan is an additional account plan that creates a team dashboard in your individual account.

  • Individual plans — start free and upgrade to unlock additional features: add more projects, unlock code export, white label your projects and the Editor.
  • Team plans — work collaboratively from a shared dashboard. You can create and join multiple teams, all you need to get started is a free individual account.

Site plans (Website and Ecommerce plans)

You can publish (stage) your projects to the webflow.io subdomain for free to test how your design looks or to get feedback from clients and friends. Then, when you’re ready to host your site with Webflow, add a site plan which to connect your custom domain, invite collaborators, and enable checkout on ecommerce stores. Site plans are added per project, so you need a separate plan for each project you want to publish to a custom domain.

  • Website plans — add a website plan for personal sites, blogs, and business websites.
  • Ecommerce plans — add an Ecommerce plan if you want to process payments on your online store.

Staging plans are free

Learn more about site plans and the features available for each plan.

You can use Webflow for free, forever and only purchase a plan to unlock features, or to host and publish your site. No credit card required. No trial period.

The Basic plan is disabled for sites with CMS or Ecommerce features.

You can re-enable the Basic Hosting option only for sites that do not have Ecommerce enabled and for sites in which you don’t need any CMS functionality.

To unlock Basic hosting, remove all CMS from your site by deleting each and every Collection in your project.

If you do not need to host your site on a custom domain and do not need more pages and features, you can use the free staging plan that allows you to publish your site on the .webflow.io subdomain. On this plan, you can test CMS and Ecommerce features.

  • If you do not need any CMS or Ecommerce features in your site, you can add a Basic plan.
  • Sites that use CMS features require CMS or Business Hosting
  • Ecommerce sites will need an Ecommerce plan — you won't be able to enable checkout without an active Ecommerce plan

Team and Individual plans are created, managed, and billed separately. When working on projects in their Team dashboard, Team plan members have access to all of Webflow’s features, regardless of individual account type. So, you may pay only for a Team plan and stay on a Free Individual plan.

If you need premium features for your individual dashboard, you can upgrade your individual account. If you only need a team plan, you can transfer your projects to your team and downgrade your Individual plan if you no longer need it.

You can only cancel auto renewal of account plans, including team plans. To ensure that your account plan doesn’t auto-renew at the end of the billing period, cancel your subscription before the end of the billing cycle

Learn more: Canceling your account plan subscription.

Your site plans automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle, but you can stop them from renewing by cancelling at any time. You will still pay the remainder of the term for the plan you signed up for. Canceling a site plan will immediately remove your custom domains and unpublish your site from both its custom domains and the Webflow staging site.

Yes, all Webflow plans is auto-renewed at the end of each billing cycle (month or year). So, when you subscribe to any plan, you automatically activate a recurring payment for the plan. This ensures that your projects and published sites remain active.

A dispute or a chargeback occurs when a cardholder questions your payment with their card issuer. The best way to manage disputes is to prevent them from happening at all. To do that, create an effective dispute and fraud prevention strategy. Learn how to best protect against disputes and fraudulent payments.

Disputed payments incur a fee as well. If the customer’s bank resolves the dispute in your favor, this fee is fully refunded.

No, you can get started with Webflow for free and use Webflow for as long as you want without adding a card on file. You’re only asked to provide a card when you purchase a plan.

You can use Webflow for free, forever and only purchase a plan to unlock features, or to host and publish your site. No credit card required. No trial period.

If you are on a monthly plan, you can switch to an annual billing cycle on your current plan. Just select annual and then click switch to yearly.

If you're on an annual plan, you won't be able to switch to a monthly cycle from the dashboard on the current plan. We can help with this, though — Contact our support team.

You can delete your Webflow account from your account settings → security page.

All site plans and account plans including team plans must be canceled in order to delete your account.

You can cancel your account plan at any time, and you will be downgraded to the free Starter plan, where you can have only 2 unhosted projects. You will not be locked out of any projects that have site plans set up, even if you're on the free Starter plan.

Here's what happens when you downgrade your account plan:

  • We downgrade you to our free Starter plan
  • Projects with a site plan remain in your dashboard
  • If you have more than 2 projects without active site plans, the actual first two sites created on the account that do not have a site plan will remain in your dashboard. If you wish to choose which projects to keep, you can delete the other projects manually before you cancel your plan.
  • All other projects without a site plan will be locked. You can unlock the projects you want to keep editing by adding a site plan or unlock all projects by upgrading your Webflow account plan.
  • If you have more than 2 pages on the remaining 2 projects without a site plan, those pages will be locked.
  • If you have more than 50 CMS items, they will be locked as well.

If your card has insufficient funds, just top the card, pay your card bill, or add funds to your account so the next payment attempt can go through. No need to make any changes in your Webflow settings.

If you add a site plan to any project in your individual dashboard, your personal card on file will be charged unless you add Client Billing for that project. The same is true for projects in a team dashboard. The card on file in the Team billing settings will be charged for any site plans on team projects except for projects with Client Billing.

All Webflow plan subscriptions auto-renew so you don’t have to worry about interrupted service. All you need to do is make sure you have a valid, active payment card on file with sufficient funds. If your card doesn’t meet these requirements, you’ll receive an email or an SMS notifying you that the payment was declined so you can fix the issue before the following payment attempt.

You’ll have enough time to renew your card, replace it, or add sufficient funds. If your grace period ends and you weren’t able to pay your dues, your subscription will be canceled.

Updating your card prompts an immediate payment attempt. If the card is valid, the payment will go through and you’ll receive an email of your receipt. If not, subsequent payment attempts will be made 4 times within 30 days.

If you’ve renewed your card, make sure to update the card on file and type in the new expiry date.

On payment due day, when the system fails to process a payment, you’ll receive an email, or SMS, notification informing you about the failed payment. After 7 days, a second attempt is made and if the payment fails again, a second notification is sent. The process repeats again in intervals of 7 days. After the fourth failed attempt, the subscription or subscriptions are canceled. For failed site plans payments, the site is unpublished.
